About Me
Learn more about my journey as a Cornwall-based Full-Stack Developer, my approach to thoughtful software design, and my passion for building intuitive, impactful digital experiences.

Hi, I'm Benji Peck, a Full Stack Developer based in Cornwall, UK. with over 8 years of experience building scalable, maintainable software. My core stack includes .NET, Vue.js, and Umbraco, and I've developed a reputation for delivering robust, long-term solutions that solve real business problems.
Over the last few years, I've focused on improving not just what we build, but how we build it. I introduced structured development processes such as Definitions of Ready and Done, led improvements to our CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices, and helped define consistent coding standards across teams. My leadership approach is calm, collaborative, and focused on helping teams deliver with confidence and clarity.
As someone passionate about craftsmanship and community, I contribute to the Umbraco ecosystem by submitting bug fixes, supporting community packages, and attending events like Codegarden. I'm always looking to learn, mentor, and raise the quality of work across teams.
I enjoy keeping up with the latest software trends and discussions through online articles and videos. This keeps me informed and inspired in the ever-evolving tech landscape. My creative side shines through with my use of a 3D printer, which I utilise to design and print various projects.
Traveling is another hobby that I cherish, especially when it involves connecting with like-minded individuals at events. A memorable experience was my solo trip to Denmark for Umbraco Codegarden. Here I expanded my network and immersed myself in the community. The knowledge I gained from this trip was recognised by my employer which enabled me to attend the following year fully subsidised.
Despite owning a didgeridoo for many years, mastering how to play it remains an ongoing challenge.
